AGC AeroComposites has invested in the development and deployment of a proprietary Automated Lay-up Machine (ALM) for the fabrication of composite structures and components. The machine is in service at the company’s site in Hayden, Idaho and is ideal for cleats, clips, angle brackets and intercostals.

HAYDEN, IDAHO, June 8, 2016 - AGCAeroComposites, a global composites and metal structures manufacturer for the aerospace and defense industry, has reached an agreement with Rockwell Collins to extend AGC’s production of the Binocular Optical Support Structure (BOSS) through multiple low rate initial production sequences. The BOSS is a key assembly in the F-35 Gen III Helmet Mounted Display System supporting the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II Program.
